    HR has tons of paper.  What if we eliminated the paperwork and went paperless? What if we put all of employee information in the cloud? What if we had access to all of our technology 24/7 and from our smartphones?  The rewards are many for both HR and employees.  Hear from a HR technology aficionado and employment lawyer about what the benefits, risks, and just plain cool things new technology can do the help HR save a forest.

    1. Appreciate the benefits of new HR technology that eliminates some of the paperwork plaguing HR.
    2. Understand the risks that are associated with cloud-based technology and systems.
    3. Learn risk mitigation techniques to lower the chances of litigation resulting from third-party possession of employee information.

    Our speaker is Kate Bischoff, an enthusiastic managment-side employment attonrey. she advises organizations in a wide range of industries on employment law and human resources issues. Kare is passionate about improving company culture and using technology in the workplace. Prior to founding tHRive Law & Consulting, Kate served as a HR Officer for the US Dept of State at the US Embassy Lusaka, Zambia and US Consulate General Jerusalem. Kate is also and Adjunt Professor at Hamline School of Law, serving as adjunct faculty for the School of Law's HR Compliance Certificate Program.
